I joined Fortune Financial in Hitchin, Hertfordshire as I wanted to work for a top-Rated Mortgage and Insurance Broker. Having now worked for the firm I believe it is the best decision I have made in my financial career.

I am a protection adviser, and pride myself on providing local specialist protection advice helping individuals and families, become financially resilient, ensuring they have appropriate insurance cover to protect them from a variety of unseen circumstances.

I specialise in arranging and advising individuals and families on bespoke life Insurance cover, critical illness policies, children’s cover, and Income protection. My focus is ultimately educating parents to ensure they have children’s cover included within their critical illness policies, as shockingly not a lot of parents know they can cover their children too.

I am passionate that my clients have adequate protection cover, and understand the risks involved of remaining unprotected. When I am asked, ‘How do I protect my income?’ I have a solution. When families need to arrange their all-important life insurance or critical illness cover, I offer a comprehensive package to offer them a cash amount if diagnosed. If they passed away within the term, I consider how their families will cover mortgage debts and replacement of income. This gives my clients financial peace of mind, should the worst happen.

Giving local clients in Sandy, Bedfordshire, and the surrounding area the full protection experience gives me immense satisfaction, as client care for me is vitally important. Every appointment to discuss a client’s protection needs is different as everyone’s circumstances are unique, but when you become a client of mine, I will ensure you are given the best protection advice, a top service, and ongoing support and aftercare.

I am currently studying for my CeMAP mortgage exams. Once I become a qualified mortgage broker, I can provide mortgage advice to clients too. I will be able to offer mortgage advice for first time buyers or home movers looking for a new home, existing mortgage customers looking for a better mortgage rate, or commercial investors wanting buy to let advice.

I am a huge believer in making everyday count. Whether this be working on your goals or just kicking back and relaxing, whatever works for you, do it. That’s why in my own time I am busy making myself a better person, reading, listening, journaling, planning. I believe this makes me a better wife to my husband of nearly eleven years, and a better mum to my three-year-old son. My husband Michael and my son Ezra are my absolute world. We are a very active family and thoroughly enjoy making lots of memories. Weekends are full of country walks, activities, good food and great friends.

I also enjoy learning about the human mind and studying psychology, it really does fascinate me. Learning how humans think and what we are capable of achieving is amazing, and it also helps me understand how to deal with my young son!

Finally my favourite places to visit are Greece and North Wales. Greece because I love their culture, food, and it’s just so pretty. North Wales because this is where my late father- in-law originates from, and whenever we visit, I don’t want to come home. Its beautiful, clean and an all-round friendly place to be.
